Ok ok so I have ben slacking and all these posts are a little random but time slips by so fast any more. We are all doing great keeping busy working and playing. We try to go camping but it seems to get harder and harder when you add another kid to the mix. Next year may be a little easer to get away. Brandy and I are getting ready celebrate our TEN year anniversary. Wow can not believe where time goes.

Rayce turned four so we had someone special stop by. Rayce was a little unsure but Madden loved every minute of it.

Madden loved to touch the fish . Rayce would not evan get close.

This was our last big camping trip. Rayce caught the very first fish of the day. We went to our family reunion and had a great time as always.

My kids are growing up so fast, I came back from Ohio and Madden had two teeth and was starting to crawl.

Exfuze in Ohio

I was very blessed to have a chance to go to Ohio to share Exfuze with my family. I was able to see my brother John and his lovely family. We spent some good quality time together. It is very beautiful back the but very flat. I have never been some where where i could not tell witch way north or south was but i guess there is a first for every thing. I had a great time there cant wait to take my family back. Much thanks to them for having me stay with them.

Thanksgiving 2008

Some say that we are crazy and some think that we are weird. We know that we love it. If you don't know every year for Thanksgiving we go camping at Dumont. Dumontis a big mountains of sand in California that we love to go to. We have so much fun there. We meat up with a bunch of friends and some family comes out to. We stay out there for seven to ten days. During our stay we ride, play and ride some more. Every one on Thanksgiving Day cooks all the stuff and then we all put it together and then we have a feast like you have never seen. It is awesome!! Rayce really got into it this year. He was asking to go out there for about five months before it was time to go. He was so excited to get there! He got to ride his little four wheeler every day. Once Grandpa Taylor got there with another four wheeler then he never wanted to stop. I think that he might have wore out Grandpa Taylor. I don't know who had more fun Rayce, Grandpa or me. This year the 50s got road the most. Ever year we have to go to the North Pole so Rayce can give his X-mas letter to Santa. ( He thinks that this is so cool) Just want to say thanks to all those that came out this year IT WAS A BLAST.

Thanksgiving 08

You decide who is having the most fun the 3 year old, 30 year old or the 70 year old! We had so much fun playing with Rayce, I think that he enjoyed it to.

Today was so much fun! We tried to make the last day of Daddy day care really fun. We all went go carting. Rayce had a blast. I have always been the one that wanted to drive and be the kid but, today I found myself just wanting to stand and watch the younger ones have fun. (does this mean I am getting old?) We had such a great time watching them have fun.

The Masterpiece

Saturday night was our Boy Scout cake auction and soup dinner. I got this great idea, since I am a leader that I to should make a cake. ( I am a stay at home Dad and all) ha ha!! This cake only took me about 2.5 days to make. Between watching my boys and one of Rayses friend on Friday.and trying to keep the house up to par! Anyway my cake was not just any plain cake it was filled with strawberries. I always have to make things a little harder on my self than I think it will be. I guess that is what makes it fun. My cake was sold for the most( not that I am bragging or any thing). I am starting to get a little sad cause Daddy Day Care is almost over. I start back to work this week.:(

Yesterday I went to the Dr. for my shoulder. He told me to take off the sling and to go back to WORK. I never thought that I would want to stay at home but, I am sure that I could be a stay at home Dad. It has been so much fun spending time at home with the family. I love being at home when the boys wake up . That is the best part of the day. I sure will miss being able to take Rayce to school. Watching him get so excited to go and come makes me laugh. Being at home to watch Madden grow has really made me think how fast time goes by. I know that I most defiantly appreciate the time that we did get to spend together. I might evan miss the house work too.

Halloween was a lot of fun for the boys.Rayce was a was one of the Backyardigans, Ryan a pilot and Madden was a cow. They started off strong but after the first street they both wanted in the stroller. There was so many kids out but,not very many houses had there lights on.

Madden has been trying really hard to get his thumb into his mouth. We have been trying to keep an eye on it cause that is one thing that we both are not to fond of. We have been putting mittins on his hands but they usually just come off. The other night i was cleaning up the kitchen and I BUSTED him in the act. He brings so much joy to our home!

This last weekend was homecoming for Brittany. She was really excited. Brandy helped her get ready most all day Saturday. Being a girl is allot of work. (ha ha) !! She had allot of fun. Thanks Chris.

The very first day of DADDY DAY CARE I got the boys all ready so when Brittany got home we could take her up to the B so they could paint it. I am sure that I could get use to staying at home. I get do do so many fun things that when I am at work that I mis out on. I am having a great time staying home with my family.

Wednesday, October 22, 2008

Well today is Brandy's first day back to work. Should I tell you that she is really sad to leave the boys. So today is my first day to have the boys all day by myself. It should be fun my arm is still in a sling for another two weeks. I cant wait to be able to move this arm. But it has been very nice to stay home and spend time with the family. Madden went to the Dr. the other day and got his shots. He was not very happy about that. He now weighs fifteen pounds. It seems that he is getting so big so fast.

Well it is bed time and he is still looking for birds.

Yesterday Rayce had school in the park. They were watching for birds. He loved it. His teacher does such a great job and does so many cool things with them. Now his new favorite things are the hat and the binoculars.

Sunday I blessed Madden. Just want to thank all those that took time out of there lives to come and be with us on this special day. I am so great full for the priesthood.

The other day was Grandpa Taylors 70th birthday party. We had a good time.

CAMPING!!

So we finely got out of town for a few days. After being locked down at home for the past ten months we went to Sand Hallow UT. Rayce has been asking at least once a week when we are going camping. So we finely put every thing aside for a few days and took the boys camping. This was Madden's first trip. He did very well in the truck. We made it all the way there with out stopping. Now I don't know about the Rhino ride. His eyes got really big and was holding onto Brandy's hand tight. He will get in the grove soon. We had a great time. It is amazing how a trip makes you fill so much better. We were able to hang out with some friends and go see some family, witch was long over due. We really love being in the outdoors. Rayce had a great time riding, fishing (with no hook) Frogen and just doing all the camping stuff. We can't wait to go again.
Rayce was having fun having a water fight with his mom!

Madden is getting so big. He is starting to smile and can hold his head by him self.

Madden is doing great. He is twelve pounds and twenty three and a half inches long. He is starting to smile now. We just can't wait till he sleeps through the night.

Rayce's camping trip!

On Friday night I had to go to Scout camp with some boys from church. So Rayce had to go camping to. Rayce Brandy and Madden Set up a tent in his bedroom. They ate dinner and roasted marshmellows. Rayce really thought that was great. The simple things in life make the biggest smiles and memories.

FIELD TRIP

So the other day at perschool they had a field trip to LOWE'S. Brandy and I were able to help drive so we were excited to go on our very first field trip. Rayce kept telling us that he just wants to go with just his Mrs. Stephanie and his friends. He is getting so independant and so big. They got to learn about plants, feed the fish and plant a flower. I think that they loved it.

Already One Month Old

It is hard to believe that Madden is one month old . Time flys by so fast. He is a really good baby. He brings allot of joy and happiness to our home.

Madden just got his first Rhino ride! I know we are slacking. Having three at home keeps us at home alot more. But hopefully there will be some camping trips here in the near future. Brandy will be off for about five more weeks and I will be off for at least six weeks. I just had shoulder surgery. So there should be some time to show Madden how to camp!!!!!! CAN'T WAIT!

The other day at school they made floats for there teddy bears. So now when we go for a walk Rayce has to take his float (a box with a string tied to it) with us. Now he wants to keep taking it back to school. Life really could be this simple!

PICTURE DAY AT PREASCHOOL

Rayce had school pictures the other day. He was soo excited. He loves his teacher and all of his new friends so much. The night before school is usually a restless night for our house. He wakes up about three o'clock am. To get his little people up for school. When we ask him what he is doing, he will tell us that sleeping takes too long. But really he is just so excited that he can't sleep. I hope that he will always be ready and excited for school.

He really loves to eat.He is about 9.5lbs now and growing like a weed. Trying to enjoy every moment cause it goes sooooooo fast.

First Day of Preschool

Rayce Started preschool last week. He will be going Tuesday and Thursday for a few hours. He LOVES it, he is so excited. When we got to school that day he just ran inside and said see ya. How exciting but, how sad. Time flys by so fast. Now that I have a family it even goes faster. Rayces Preschool will have a Blog soon so I will post it when it comes out.
