Madden has been trying really hard to get his thumb into his mouth. We have been trying to keep an eye on it cause that is one thing that we both are not to fond of. We have been putting mittins on his hands but they usually just come off. The other night i was cleaning up the kitchen and I BUSTED him in the act. He brings so much joy to our home!

This last weekend was homecoming for Brittany. She was really excited. Brandy helped her get ready most all day Saturday. Being a girl is allot of work. (ha ha) !! She had allot of fun. Thanks Chris.

The very first day of DADDY DAY CARE I got the boys all ready so when Brittany got home we could take her up to the B so they could paint it. I am sure that I could get use to staying at home. I get do do so many fun things that when I am at work that I mis out on. I am having a great time staying home with my family.

Well today is Brandy's first day back to work. Should I tell you that she is really sad to leave the boys. So today is my first day to have the boys all day by myself. It should be fun my arm is still in a sling for another two weeks. I cant wait to be able to move this arm. But it has been very nice to stay home and spend time with the family. Madden went to the Dr. the other day and got his shots. He was not very happy about that. He now weighs fifteen pounds. It seems that he is getting so big so fast.

Well it is bed time and he is still looking for birds.

Yesterday Rayce had school in the park. They were watching for birds. He loved it. His teacher does such a great job and does so many cool things with them. Now his new favorite things are the hat and the binoculars.

Sunday I blessed Madden. Just want to thank all those that took time out of there lives to come and be with us on this special day. I am so great full for the priesthood.

The other day was Grandpa Taylors 70th birthday party. We had a good time.

CAMPING!!

So we finely got out of town for a few days. After being locked down at home for the past ten months we went to Sand Hallow UT. Rayce has been asking at least once a week when we are going camping. So we finely put every thing aside for a few days and took the boys camping. This was Madden's first trip. He did very well in the truck. We made it all the way there with out stopping. Now I don't know about the Rhino ride. His eyes got really big and was holding onto Brandy's hand tight. He will get in the grove soon. We had a great time. It is amazing how a trip makes you fill so much better. We were able to hang out with some friends and go see some family, witch was long over due. We really love being in the outdoors. Rayce had a great time riding, fishing (with no hook) Frogen and just doing all the camping stuff. We can't wait to go again.
Rayce was having fun having a water fight with his mom!

Madden is getting so big. He is starting to smile and can hold his head by him self.

Madden is doing great. He is twelve pounds and twenty three and a half inches long. He is starting to smile now. We just can't wait till he sleeps through the night.

Rayce's camping trip!

On Friday night I had to go to Scout camp with some boys from church. So Rayce had to go camping to. Rayce Brandy and Madden Set up a tent in his bedroom. They ate dinner and roasted marshmellows. Rayce really thought that was great. The simple things in life make the biggest smiles and memories.

FIELD TRIP

So the other day at perschool they had a field trip to LOWE'S. Brandy and I were able to help drive so we were excited to go on our very first field trip. Rayce kept telling us that he just wants to go with just his Mrs. Stephanie and his friends. He is getting so independant and so big. They got to learn about plants, feed the fish and plant a flower. I think that they loved it.

Already One Month Old

It is hard to believe that Madden is one month old . Time flys by so fast. He is a really good baby. He brings allot of joy and happiness to our home.

Madden just got his first Rhino ride! I know we are slacking. Having three at home keeps us at home alot more. But hopefully there will be some camping trips here in the near future. Brandy will be off for about five more weeks and I will be off for at least six weeks. I just had shoulder surgery. So there should be some time to show Madden how to camp!!!!!! CAN'T WAIT!

The other day at school they made floats for there teddy bears. So now when we go for a walk Rayce has to take his float (a box with a string tied to it) with us. Now he wants to keep taking it back to school. Life really could be this simple!

PICTURE DAY AT PREASCHOOL

Rayce had school pictures the other day. He was soo excited. He loves his teacher and all of his new friends so much. The night before school is usually a restless night for our house. He wakes up about three o'clock am. To get his little people up for school. When we ask him what he is doing, he will tell us that sleeping takes too long. But really he is just so excited that he can't sleep. I hope that he will always be ready and excited for school.

THE BABY IS HERE

Madden Kayde Taylor

Was Born on 08/19/08

Weight:8.3 and 20 inches long

Time 6:22 pm

On Tuesday morning When i had got up for work Brandy was having contractions, but I thought nothing of it since she had them for almost for a week. So off to work I went, I was there for one hour and she was calling me to come home. So the mad dash across town in rush hour traffic was on. After a 45 min drive home from work, I picked her up and had to drive another 30 min drive to the hospital in rush hour traffic. I think that there is hand prints on the dash of the truck. They checked us in at Spring Valley Hospital At about 9:00 am. They broke her water around 10:00 by 10:15 she was asking for a epidural. The wonder full Dr. came and helped make her as comfortable as possible. The Dr s were outstanding cause when you have a VBAC they have to be at the hospital the whole time that she was in labor. The day seemed like it was taking forever, but all at once they swarmed the room and next thing i know she was pushing. After two sets of ten Madden popped out. What an amazing thing to experience. We are so blessed to have him come into our lives. He is healthy and loves to eat. Rayce was so happy that his little brother finally came out. He right away wanted to give him a hamburger and chips. He has got a lot to learn. We were able to come home 24hr later that was so nice. It would have been hard to leave a 3 and 17 year old for 5 days like last time. So now i get to spend the next few weeks at home with the family, that i will enjoy a lot. School starts for Brittany on Monday she is ready and excited to start. Rayce starts preschool on the Sep. 2 he is really happy that he gets to go to school like Aunt B.
